OSPAs finalist

by Mark Rowe

The guarding contractor Axis Security starts the year as a finalist in the 2017 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) in the category for Outstanding Contract Security Company.

That category recognises those who are outstanding suppliers of manned security guarding. It also aims to commend those companies that: successfully motivate and upskill staff; effectively manage resources in what is an increasingly competitive and price sensitive environment; recognise the distinct importance of front line leadership; make the most of technologies; and forge internal and external partnerships to better the service they provide.

David Mundell, Managing Director of Axis Security, pictured, says: “This is the first time we have entered the OSPAs, so I am very pleased to see that we have been shortlisted for this key category. We have worked hard over the years to make Axis Security one of the UK’s outstanding performers in the security sector, searching out and supporting talented people to make sure our clients get the best level of service. So we look forward to the award ceremony in March where their commitment will be celebrated, but we also look forward to another year of working hard to make a positive difference.”

The awards evening at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square is Thursday, March 2.
