Ops director

by Mark Rowe

Ward Security has appointed Liz Buys as Operations Director. Liz has 13 years’ experience in facilities management in service delivery and holding various senior facilities management roles. She is a member of the British Industry of Facilities Management and most recently worked at MJ Mapp, for seven years in a variety of key areas including head of operations at Covent Garden before leaving to work as a specialist independent consultant on operational areas.

Liz Buys said: “I was actually a client of Ward Security for many years and always admired the ethos of the company, as well as being impressed by their service delivery. Ward Security was always the benchmark for me when working with Security providers. It is a real privilege to be working for Ward Security and good to see that everything I was impressed with as a client impresses me as an employee.”

And David Ward, Managing Director of Ward Security said: “Liz is a great addition to the team. Having been client side as well as a consultant previously she understands the issues and requirements inside out. She has first-class operational knowledge which we will be putting to good use.”

Ward Security adds that it’s seen the recruitment of five senior positions in two months, as it continues to grow its regional operations team across all office locations, as part of its 2014 expansion strategy. For more about Ward Security see www.ward-security.co.uk.
