London Designer Outlet contract

by Mark Rowe

ABM, the facility management contract company, announced its UK Business and Industry Group has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide integrated facilities management for London Designer Outlet (LDO) in Wembley Park, pictured, managed by Realm Ltd.

The contractor says that it already provides cleaning and security at two other Realm centres – Dalton Park, in County Durham; and Livingston Designer Outlet, near Edinburgh – and this contract also includes energy, HVAC and mechanical, electrical and guest services. ABM UK adds that its experiential marketing business BlackJack Promotions also contributed to the contract award.

LDO’s General Manager Sue Shepherd said: “We’re delighted to be working with ABM and were particularly impressed with their ability to go beyond traditional facilities management by bringing BlackJack to the table, which will help continue to improve the guest experience at the centre.”

And ABM UK’s Business Development & Marketing Director Adam Baker said: “LDO is an iconic London site and a major tourist attraction that builds on our existing retail portfolio. With our range of services, we can help to enhance the guest experience and keep them coming back to LDO.”
