Lancs security manager

Lingwood Security Management have appointed a new Security Manager, Adam Ross. He’s to head the Heysham, Lancashire-based company’s security personnel, specifically to ensure that company standards, health and safety requirements and contractual obligations are adhered to. He will also be responsible for preparing project tenders and visiting client sites to check all’s running smoothly.

Adam is a local lad by birth, hailing from Morecambe. He has a military background, having worked as a training instructor for the Royal Engineers. There his role was to instruct recruits on weapons, first aid, map-reading and nuclear biological chemical warfare. Adam then went on to become Regimental Sergeant Major in charge of a base in a London district where he had to look after 800 personnel. He did 13 tours during his service, eight of which were operational and received two commendations for outstanding services.
