King’s Cross Central contract

by Mark Rowe

The property managers Broadgate Estates have awarded a three-year contract to Incentive Lynx Security to provide security services at King’s Cross Central in London. This follows a competitive tender and market review. Under the terms of the multi-million pound contract which began in January, Incentive Lynx, part of the Incentive FM Group, will provide building and estate security, and control room management. Some 35 staff have transferred under TUPE. Craig Pickard, Incentive Lynx MD, said: “This is an incredibly diverse site which attracts high numbers of tourists, workers, residents and domestic and international travellers. Safety and security are absolutely vital to ensure that all visitors to the area have a good experience and can fully enjoy what it has to offer.” And Diane Slennett at Broadgate said: “We wanted to work with a provider who could offer us a high standard of service but could also adapt to any changing requirements that we may have as the site develops. Incentive Lynx already works with us at a number of London sites and have proven themselves to be a strong, reliable partner.”
