Kingdom Security has acquired Dougland Support Services Ltd, a Hampshire-based cleaning, maintenance and specialist projects company.
Founded in 1970 and operating from their cleaning support centre in Fareham, Dougland provides a national, site managed cleaning service in the transport, leisure, commercial property and food hygiene sectors and employs 700 people and has a turnover of £14m. According to Kingdom this continues the expansion of their company to over £60m turnover and 2,600 people.

About the firm
St Helens-based Kingdom, established in 1993, recently gained a contract to provide assisted alarm response services to Maplin Electronics stores in the UK and Ireland. Also, Kingdom has added two more CEVA Logistics sites to its guarding services, at Sherburn in Elmet in North Yorkshire and Kirkby Thore near Penrith, Cumbria.
