ITV team accolade

by Mark Rowe

The ITV team from security company Wilson James has four team leaders and 21 security officers. It’s a diverse team in terms of experience, ranging from three months to over 23 years, that can speak over a dozen languages. They’ve been named best team, in the London regional judging rounds of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) Security Personnel Awards.

The team protects and assists visitors and contractors and makes the broadcasting studios secure and safe 365 days a year. As ITV are routinely filming some of the UK’s biggest television shows, VIP security is another responsibility.

Mohamed Hoggui, the Wilson James Site Coordinator said: “I am so pleased the team here at ITV have received the recognition they deserve. They are a thoroughly hard-working and dedicated group of professionals whose passion and love for the job is evident in the service they provide. We have a brilliant relationship with ITV and the support we receive from them enables us to deliver an outstanding service.”

The team will now be put forward to the national judging phase of the awards. If they are successful in the second round of judging, they will then be invited to attend the BSIA’s annual lunch on July 15, where they will be presented with the national award.

These awards are in their 17th year – all along sponsored by Camberford Law, the insurance brokers specialising in the security sector.
