Guarding services for Avison Young

by Mark Rowe

TC Security Services, part of TC Facilities Management (TCFM) is providing guarding and mobile patrol services to the privately-held commercial real estate firm Avison Young (formerly GVA). The contract that began on January 2 covers multiple locations across London (where the Canadian-based firm has three offices) and the South East.

TC Security Services welcomed 20 new colleagues to the business from a number of incumbent suppliers. The contractor reports that client feedback about the mobilisation, led by Patrick O’Sullivan, Operations Manager, is very positive.

Alan Prince, Director, National Strategic FM for Avison Young said: “We ran a full-blown tender to make sure we appointed the right security specialist to manage this diverse portfolio of properties. Against a wide range of criteria, TC Security Services came out in front. As a new supplier, there was an added element of risk, but nearly four months after go-live, we’re delighted with the decision to appoint them.”

Satia Rai, Operations Director of TC Security Services, pictured, said: “Having been awarded the contract for guarding and mobile patrol services with Avison Young, we committed the resource necessary to ensure the mobilisation was seamless. We’ve implemented best in class technology that will provide TC Security Services and Avison Young with data and analysis to shape better decision making.”

And Tony Reed, CEO of TC Facilities Management added: “This award is a great result for the business and demonstrates ongoing growth for TCFM as a whole. We look forward to being Avison Young’s partner of choice, adding value and providing the expertise that Avison Young need each day.”
