Deloitte deal

Mitie, the facilities management (FM) company, has been appointed preferred bidder for a five year integrated FM contract with the auditor and business services firm, Deloitte.

The new contract has a total base value in excess of £40m over the five-year period. Mitie says that it will deliver the complete range of FM services, including cleaning, security, landscaping, pest control, waste management, health and safety management, energy consultancy and helpdesk services across Deloitte’s UK estate, comprising of 34 offices and more than 1.3m sq. ft. of office space.

Phil Holland, managing director of Mitie’s Integrated Facilities Management business, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed preferred bidder by Deloitte. We will be committed to developing a bespoke FM strategy and offering expert advice and recommendations on service delivery.”

And Mark Raveneau, a property and corporate services director at Deloitte, said: “Deloitte believes that it is of paramount importance that our office estate is managed to the highest level ensuring productivity and service. We look forward to forming a collaborative partnership with Mitie.”
