Corporate services director

by Mark Rowe

At the facilities management (FM, security and cleaning) contractor Anchor Group Services, Alex Hiles has been promoted to a newly created role of Corporate Services Director. Alex has worked within the Group for the past seven years and is being promoted from General Manager.

An ex-military man, Alex, pictured, has experience throughout the Deeside-based firm, including business development and working at the top level of operations. Alex says: “I see this as a blending of my previous experience to deliver something new for our client base. I think my breadth of experience will provide continuity throughout the lifecycle of our key customers.”

CEO of Anchor Group Services, Andrew Harper said: “Alex thoroughly deserves this promotion. We have listened to our key customers who were saying that they are looking for someone who can support them on their journey from the tender stage all the way through the lifecycle of the contract. Traditionally, sales and operations have always acted independently and often in conflict, we have thought laterally and developed a role that provides accountability for what has been promised and ensures that there is transparent delivery on those promises.”
