Cordant Services will be headed by Chief Executive Chris Kenneally with Jamie Reynolds as Group Commercial Director, and will comprise of four divisions which will be closely aligned whilst retaining their individual specialist natures. All existing cleaning and security businesses will be rebranded as Cordant Cleaning and Cordant Security respectively, and there will be two brand new divisions, Cordant Technical and Cordant Specialist Services.

Cordant Cleaning, headed by Guy Pakenham, encompasses the company’s cleaning brands which covers around 550 sites across the UK, including the cleaning, servicing and scheduling of 6500 London buses every day.

And Cordant Technical will provide technical project management in areas such as installations of new equipment, retrofits of mechanical and electrical equipment that is past its lifecycle, interior fit-outs and refurbishment, and assist clients with electrical compliance. In its initial phase the division will be managed by Jamie Reynolds alongside his Commercial role.

Cordant Specialist Services, headed by Brendan Musgrove, will cover such sites as data centres, pharmaceutical operations and hi-tech manufacturing and food processing, and specialist work such as high-level cleaning and bio-hazard cleaning.

The group speaks of a major investment in technology due to be completed mid-2015 which will deploy new systems across the business, such as mobile technology.

Chris Kenneally, Chief Executive of Cordant Services, said: “The business is already well-established in the sectors in which it operates, but we saw a gap in the market for an integrated set of niche businesses, run by service line experts who self deliver tailored solutions to customers. Aligning our specialist divisions within this new structure means that we can offer bundled solutions, and provide added value for customers. We are bringing in new technology that is way ahead of anything else in the marketplace, which, along with our strong leadership team will provide the platform to drive our ambitious growth strategy for the Group.”
