Bluewater contract

by Mark Rowe

Incentive FM Ltd, the facilities management company, reports a new five-year contract with Bluewater, the retail and leisure destination. The FM firm says the new contract is on the strength of the operational delivery and strategic management of the contract for the last three years. Incentive will continue to deliver security, cleaning, M&E (mechanical and electrical), concierge, landscaping, management and administration services at the 240 acre site between Dartford and Gravesend in north Kent, open seven days, that has the likes of Boots, John Lewis, House of Fraser, and Marks & Spencer; and a Showcase Cinema.

Incentive FM says that it has consistently adapted its services to fulfil the needs of the centre. This has included providing solutions, continuous improvement and added value by engaging with, and supporting, the 300-strong team on site. Incentive FM was working with Bluewater, even prior to the centre opening as FM consultant and advisor to the landlords.

Robert Goodman, Senior General Manager at Bluewater, said: “Incentive FM has thoroughly impressed us with its ability to consistently deliver an exceptional level of service throughout our relationship. Their commitment, expertise and ability to adapt to meet our needs, providing a value driven service, combined with their dedication to staff welfare, made them the perfect company to continue to deliver services at Bluewater.”

And Bruce McDonnell, Managing Director at Incentive FM, said: “Having provided dedicated services at Bluewater for the last three years, we completely understand the infrastructure in place and what is required to provide a range of world-class services that deliver the perfect guest experience. We are extremely proud of our achievements at Bluewater and we look forward to continuing to develop this relationship for many successful years to come.”
