KM Security Solutions have won a new CCTV and access control, intruder, RedCARE and Fire Detection systems contract with Balfour Beatty. This new contract will involve those systems at the Breddinghurst School, South London, being tested regularly.
According to the contractor a fully integrated security system serves as a cohesive solution which can reduce cost, and provide a return on investment by eliminating costly manual processes as well as provide time and attendance monitoring, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), visitor monitoring and fire roll-call software that automatically generates a report in an event of a fire.
The contract firm points to a recent independent study by Teng & Associates it found that in the 145,000 square foot building of Strategic ICT Consulting, the installation of a single system provided a cost saving of 24 per cent for an integrated BAS versus separate systems, with expenditure of training reduced by 33%, IT administration by 82%, and the cost for changes, upgrades, and additions to an integrated system are reduced by 32 per cent.
Roy Coplen, pictured, Director of KM Security Solutions said: “The partnership between KM Security and Balfour Beatty goes from strength to strength as another contract for the fire, CCTV, access control and intruder systems is awarded to KM Security for Breddinghurst School. KM Security’s ability to deliver the service that companies like Balfour Beatty demand is being rewarded by placing more and more contracts with KM Security.”
