Preliminary figures released by Axis Security, the guarding and electronic security contractor, show that the company increased its turnover by 15 percent for the year 2011/2012 to £36.7 million, and increased EBITDA to £1.33 million – a rise of more than 33 percent.

The guarding company points to added significant volumes of new business, and an ACS score that places them well up into the top five percent of all ACS companies assessed.

Jonathan Levine, Group Chief Executive, says: “This is an excellent performance by any measure, but especially against a background of a tough business environment with many customers cutting budgets or demanding more for less.

“We continue to make strong progress around the country in all of our core deliverables – guarding, CCTV/access control systems, video monitoring, mobile patrols and keyholding – and across all sectors, from major retail to healthcare.”
