Sight & Sound is celebrating after one of its officers was named winner in the annual BSIA Security Personnel Awards 2015. Robert Love, 26, was the National Best Newcomer.
Now in their 17th year, and sponsored by the specialist insurers for the security sector Camberford Law, the awards mark the achievements and contributions of those working in the UK’s private security industry.
Robert has worked for the company for just over two years. Although only having worked in the security industry for that short amount of time, Robert has quickly risen through the rank securing two promotions within one year, and is Operations Supervisor at the company’s Head Office in Ashford.
Robert said: “I am very appreciative for being selected for this award. It is a great feeling to know that my efforts and hard work have been noticed and appreciated. I am hopeful that this will help me to push my goals further and become more involved in the Security Industry and propel my career in future years.”
Paul Purchase, Managing Director, is pictured right accepting the award on Robert’s behalf from the event compere, Alfie Moore. It is hard to believe that someone who is as new to the industry as Robert is able to perform his duties with such skill and dedication. We are incredibly proud of him for winning the hotly contested BSIA National Security Personnel Award for Best Newcomer.’
