Test brands stay

by Mark Rowe

After Element Materials Technology’s (Element’s) acquisition of Exova Group Ltd (Exova) last year, the Fire & Building Products part of the business has been rebranded. Element will retain the BM TRADA and Warringtonfire brands.

The firm says that preserving the BM TRADA and Warringtonfire brands not only reflects their status, it makes the transition easier for customers, ensuring that existing test reports and certifications held by customers will continue to be accepted by controlling bodies and specifiers.

Rob Veitch, EVP of Fire & Building Products, Element said: “We’re incredibly proud to be part of Element, and equally proud of our distinguished brands. Both BM TRADA and Warringtonfire are well-respected names in the testing, inspection and certification industry and have been for many years, so it is logical for us to retain these well-known and trusted brands.

“Since joining forces with Element last year, we have continued to pursue our shared goal to become the best and most trusted testing inspection and certification partner in the industry by providing consistent and industry-leading on-time delivery, turnaround times and service. This rebrand ensures that our customers continue to benefit from the value of the BM TRADA and Warringtonfire brands and provides them with a passport to trade.”

Element offers testing, inspection and certification services.
