Based on Giants Hall Farm in Wigan, pictured, G&B (North West) Ltd supplies 1m square metres of glass reinforced polyester (GRP) roofing to the trade each year. The company continues to extend its buildings, requiring latest fire detection.

In the requirements for a fire detection system, we needed a user friendly, compact system that we could rely on, but also could accommodate the different buildings we operate in. It was also essential to be able to expand as we did across the farm site.”
Comelit’s Atena addressable panel was installed, featuring a touch screen. The product can expand from one to four loops; and can accommodate up to 1,000 devices. As it can network up to 64 panels, it can expand with a facility the developers add.
