New from Urmet is the Alpha line of modular entry panels for the 2Voice video door intercom range. The manufacturer of door entry products says that the product has a sleek contemporary design, and offers resistance to external agents such as water, dust and impact, with protection class IP55 and IK08.
As for configuration by the installer, the panels feature two levels of programming: basic and advanced. The products have been designed to allow an installer to join modular elements together in a few steps, minimising the use of screwdrivers and thus reducing the overall installation time. All connections between modules are carried out by flat cables, which are supplied with the units, thereby excluding local wiring.
Once installed, it barely projects at all from the wall, which, the Secured by Design certificated company adds, distinguishes it from other modular entry panels on the market: 12mm for the flush-mounted version and 29mm for the surface wall-mounted variant. Visit www.urmet.co.uk.
