The wireless CCTV technology company Vemotion reports the appointment of CriticalStreaming.com as its first specialist solution provider, specifically for the transport and logistics sectors. wireless CCTV streaming will see CriticalStreaming.com operate solely as a delivery mechanism to provide Vemotion products and services to the public and private transport industries.
CriticalStreaming.com supplies live streaming to service the specific requirements of the transport sector, for passenger transport and logistics uses. Powered by Vemotion, the CriticalStreaming.com is already used by police, security forces and government agencies, the firms say.
Vemotion CEO, Stewart McCone, pictured, says: “While historically popular with law enforcement and security services because of its robust manufacture and reliability, Vemotion technology has many civilian applications and we are looking forward to assisting CriticalStreaming.com in further supporting a market sector we believe has enormous potential.”
CCTV has always played a key role in securing cash in transit, and other applications for CriticalStreaming.com include helicopters; private security; shipping, harbours and other waterways.
Stewart says: “If it moves and if you need live and/or retrievable footage, CriticalStreaming.com is now the first port of call.” Based in London but with service capability wherever there is a network, CriticalStreaming.com provides live video access to on-board CCTV cameras and recorded data, via the mobile phone network. This connectivity includes the ever present GPRS network that is often the only available network in less densely populated areas in the UK, as well as the rest of Europe.
According to the firms, advances in wireless technology means live streaming is moving out of covert, police and military applications into greater civilian use. Further information on Vemotion, based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire at www.vemotion.com.
