The control room furniture manufacturer Winsted will be introducing its new ranges, E-SOC and EnVision, at the Security TWENTY13 event on Wednesday, March 27, as well as presenting a seminar session on the topic ‘Economics of the ergonomic control room’. Delegates will have the chance to gain an insight into how ergonomically designed control rooms deliver results through improved operator comfort, concentration levels and efficiency.
As well as exhibiting at Security TWENTY13, being held at the Forest of Arden Hotel on March 27th, Winsted is donating a raffle prizes for the charity Joshua Battling Cancer, which raises funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Winsted’s new EnVision and E-SOC ranges are the company’s first product introductions for 2013, a year which marks its 50th anniversary. The makers say the EnVision Command Console’s new modular design blends form and function in an ergonomically optimised single, double or triple tier configuration.
Meanwhile, Winsted’s E-SOC control station combines the operational features of a workstation and console to offer flexibility and ergonomic design, helping to improve the performance of control room operators monitoring complex systems. E-SOC blends elements drawn from Winsted’s Prestige console and its Encompass II workstation, adding the company’s Versa-Trak display monitor mounting system for ergonomic comfort and adjustability.
