Thermal launch

by msecadm4921

Midwich Security, a division of Midwich, the UK trade-only audiovisual, print, and digital imaging distributor, was launching with thermal imaging specialist FLIR at IFSEC

Manufacturers of thermal imaging systems for commercial, industrial and government applications, FLIR can provide visibility in total darkness, in fog and foul weather and where lighting is unwanted. Thermal imaging can help reduce costs by providing greater coverage than traditional CCTV as it requires fewer peripheral devices and can also provide higher detection rates.

The firms say that thermal imaging technology has been found to be suitable for a variety of applications including commercial, industrial, government, and warehousing as well as ports and airports, national borders, private estates, and nuclear installations.
