Sony IPELA ENGINE camera range

by Mark Rowe

Distributor Norbain is offering the Sony IPELA ENGINE camera range with 14 new models, including a small entry-level CCTV camera and a scalable management recording product.

The firms say this new series brings the IPELA ENGINE to entry-to-mid level applications including retail, education and banking. The cameras are available in HD and full HD resolution.

All the new models incorporate image stabilisation to reduce camera shake caused by wind and vibrations on mounting platforms. Camera shake blurs images and washes out details so the new feature will deliver images in varying weather the firms add.

The ten new cameras in the EX E Series are four fixed, two minidome, two vandal-proof minidome and two outdoor rugged minidome models:

• SNC-EB600, SNC-EB600B, SNC-EB630 and SNC-EB630B fixed cameras
• SNC-EM600 and SNC-EM630 minidome cameras
• SNC-EM601 and SNC-EM631 vandal-proof minidome cameras
• SNC-EM602R and SNC-EM632R outdoor, rugged minidome cameras

The firms add that two new V-Series cameras – the outdoor, rugged SNC-VM602R and SNC-VM632R – will expand the mid-level and high end models currently available.
