Sales joiner

by Mark Rowe

Edesix, the Body Worn Camera company, has added Calum Miller to its sales staff. The firm reports a record year in 2016 when it won large contracts in the UK and abroad, including a contract to supply UK Prison Services. It was also nominated for a Scottish Export Award.

Calum Miller joins as Business Development Manager where he will have responsibility for Edesix’s new VideoTag range of incident recorders. Released in June 2017, the VideoTag VT-50 is described as Edesix’s smallest camera yet. The VT-50 offers three months of stand-by battery life, is compatible with ONStream, Edesix’s VMS gateway software, and has the ability to stream and offload footage over WiFi.

Miller, pictured, has 17 years’ experience at senior level in the SaaS and video conferencing industries. He said: “Having spent the last few years as the Director of a videoconferencing and asset management company within the UK, the prospect of leading the way in this relatively new market space of Incident Recorders is an exciting challenge, and one that my past experience lends itself to.”

And Ken Fiddes, Sales Director at Edesix said: “Calum will make the perfect addition to the team. As we work more closely with our VMS partners, the VideoTag range and ONStream software platform are becoming integral to the video security landscape. I’m confident that Calum will play a key role in ensuring we meet our goals within this market.”
