IDIS has appointed Steve Klapiscak as Regional Sales Manager. John Reid takes on the role of Business Development Manager. Both report to Jamie Barnfield, Senior Sales Manager of IDIS Europe. The product firm says that the new hires build on its commitment to provide local sales support to UK integrators, distributors and end users.
Klapiscak, pictured, will cover the East Midlands and the North East supporting national and regional installers as well as developing end user accounts, while also engaging with strategic distributors in his region. Reid’s focus will be to nurture new relationships with installers across the north of England and Scotland. Klapiscak and Reid will also be supporting IDIS partners through joint IDIS Total Solution marketing, events and other promotions.
Klapiscak brings over ten years’ security industry experience covering sales, customer service and channel development with specialist expertise in networked video surveillance. He has held various sales positions at Sony Europe with his most recent tenure at Canon where he was responsible for external sales and channel development.
Reid has held sales positions at ADT Fire and Security, Norbain SD, Siemens and most recently the distributor Mayflex, building up close to 20 years’ security industry experience.
