Pelco at IFSEC 2016

by Mark Rowe

Pelco by Schneider Electric, the video surveillance and security management software company, will unveil the new Sarix Professional cameras during IFSEC International, running from June 21 to 23, 2016, at EXCEL London.

At stand D800, Pelco will also highlight its Optera Series Panoramic IP Camera line and its VideoXpert Video Management System (VMS).

On show for the first time at IFSEC, the new Sarix Professional Range cameras incorporate Pelco’s fixed IP camera features. The devices feature resolutions from 1MP to 5MP, cover larger areas with a single camera, and can digitally zoom in to scenes while maintaining evidential data clarity, according to the company. The cameras also offer low-light performance and adaptive IR illumination to capture critical image details in the dark, such as faces and number plates.

Mark Pritchard, Director of Marketing, EMEA, Pelco by Schneider Electric, said: “The Sarix Pro camera range is one of our best contributions to our comprehensive IP camera portfolio, offering exceptional clarity and increased coverage, as well as exceptional integration capabilities. The Sarix Pro camera range is ideal for locations where video security equipment could be at risk, as well as vandal resistant to IK10. Additionally, the camera range adheres to ONVIF Profile S and Profile G standards, making it easy to integrate with other video systems.”

Attendees could win a GoPro each day of the expo by taking the Optera Challenge. Attendees will be entered to win the prize upon completion of a series of challenges using Pelco’s video technology.
