The CCTV product manufacturer IDIS is providing training support for its partners with the launch of a new suite of online learning tools. Three new e-learning modules, covering DirectIP products, DirectCX and the IDIS Center video management software (VMS), have been designed for engineers, project managers, and technical consultants. These intuitive e-learning courses can be used at the time and place to suit each learner.
Included are training videos, reviews of equipment operation manuals and assessment sections designed to test and confirm understanding. Users can access the courses through the IDIS website, www.idisglobal.com, where e-learning is accessed via the partner’s dropdown with a user-name and password provided by IDIS.
From the training area dashboard, users can see which courses have been started and completed. They can also keep up to date with the latest details about forthcoming training resources, including webinars and live training events. After each course and passing the certification exam with a minimum score of 75pc, the trainee will receive an online certificate.
