Norbain Holdings, the distributor of fire, Security and IT-IP products, has appointed Jeremy Hockham as Managing Director. Jeremy joins the Reading-based company with international industry experience, having been President of Bosch Security USA, Managing Director of Bosch Security UK and Managing Director of Honeywell Security, among other management positions in the security industry.

Nigel Palmer, CEO of parent company Newbury Investments, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy to Norbain Holdings at what is an exciting time in the evolution of the company. In the last 18 months, security expert Norbain SD has been joined by Detection Supplies and CMS Plc, leading distributors in Fire and IT Connectivity respectively. Jeremy brings with him a wealth of experience and industry knowledge and we’re looking forward to Norbain Holdings continuing to build on this market presence under Jeremy’s guidance.”

And Jeremy, pictured, says: “I was delighted to accept the opportunity to run the Holdings company at such an important phase in its development. Since its acquisition by the Newbury group in 2012 Norbain has seen continuous investment and acquisitions and I am really looking forward to joining the team and building on the strong platform the business has in place across the fire, security and connectivity markets.’
