Network camera series

Dahua Technology, the Chinese manufacturer of video surveillance products based in Hangzhou, announced its latest 4K Ultra-HD Network Camera Series— DH-IPC-81200.

The makers say this new series is their highest-end offering and features a 12-Megapixel (4K UHD) resolution and a4K ultra-HD codec and smart detection.

All models of the DH-IPC-81200 network camera series provide a total resolution of 3840 X 2160 at full frame rate. This series employs the Sony Exmor R 1/1.7-inch CMOS colour sensor with 12-Megapixel resolution and the Ambarella Cortex-A9 1GHz dual core DSP which generates images with higher sensitivity and lower noise, it is claimed. With in 4K ultra HD resolution, the new cameras are suitable the firms says for indoor and outdoor use.

The HFW81200E-Z and HDBW81200E-Z both enable four times optical zoom with synchronous focusing and can zoom and focus within five seconds. The lens offers a wide angle viewing range (106 degrees ~32 degrees). The 4K ultra-HD series adopts the new E-PTZ function which offers auto-tracking for objects that triggered an alarm. Firmware and software enables a variety of intelligent functions including Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS), face detection, people counting and heat maps.
