Mini box camera

A mere 50mm wide and weighing from only 180g including the cable, the MDF4220HD from Dallmeier is described by its German manufacturers as a space saver.

The mini box camera with a 1.3 megapixel CMOS image sensor provides HD video in real-time (720p/30), using the H.264 codec. The MDF4220HD is a hybrid camera which can send HD video over IP and analogue SD video via BNC at once.

The product comes with a quarter-inch tripod socket on the top and bottom side, and fits all standard brackets with UNC threaded screws. Due to its compact design and the included mounting brackets, the mini box camera is also the German company adds suited for installation in automated teller machines (ATMs). The HD mini box camera offers Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and it is claimed can capture images with colour fidelity and detail reproduction even in scenes with a wide range of contrast and strong backlighting.
