Marketing pick

by msecadm4921

The Marketing Eye has been chosen by Samsung Techwin – part of the Samsung Group and a manufacturer of security products. Dominic Jones, European Marketing Manager, Samsung Techwin, says: “The Marketing Eye was able to demonstrate a strong commercial understanding of our market, allied with a track record of delivering successful B2B marketing campaigns. These two factors enabled the team to offer a very strong total proposition.”

Marie Kemshall, pictured, who joined Uckfield-based The Marketing Eye as a Client Director in June, led the definition of requirements with Samsung Techwin. She worked at distributor Norbain for more than six years and now specialises in marketing and events in the security sector.

She says: “Over the past few years, I have developed close relationships with many of the leading players in the European electronic security industry and I have brought that experience with me to The Marketing Eye. I am delighted to have introduced the skills and expertise that we offer at The Marketing Eye to Samsung Techwin and look forward to building a close relationship with the organisation.”

Dominic Jones adds: “The fact that The Marketing Eye was able to offer a deep understanding of the nuances of our industry was a major factor in our decision to work with Marie and the team. We were looking for a partner who could offer experience and expertise in a variety of different aspects of the marketing mix to help us drive long-term partnerships with our customer base.”

Neil Edwards, Managing Director of The Marketing Eye, says: “Security has been a sector we have been focusing on for a while now at The Marketing Eye and having Marie onboard has really pushed our efforts ahead,” he explains. “Marie’s knowledge of the security sector is excellent and we are looking forward to working with Samsung Techwin on this project and hopefully many more to follow.”

Dominic adds: “We are looking forward to a long-term partnership with The Marketing Eye, working with them to help ensure that our strategic marketing objectives are met.”
