IP range

by Mark Rowe

The distributors CCTVDirect describe the images from the Uniview Ultra Starlight range of IP cameras as second to none.

The Leeds firm points to the ability to capture colour images in low light, at just 0.0005 lux levels, to capture detail by night and day. For example the 2MP 4mm fixed lens bullet camera offers infra-red lighting to a range of 50m; while a 5MP dome has IR to 30m. A user can view CCTV anywhere with the EZView mobile app. Thanks to analytics you can receive activity alerts.

The camera can detect faces within a frame and in playback mode, you can select a face within the footage and watch. As for intrusion detection, you can set a pre-defined area and receive notifications when something enters and loiters. Set a pre-defined line, and receive notifications when something crosses that line.
