Innovative project award

The Yorkshire based manufacturing company Nocturna, based in Full Sutton, has gained the BSIA commendation award for “Innovative Security Project of the Year” for its Sentinel range.

Nocturna is a part of the IRNV Group along their sister company, NiteSite. The group exports to over 60 countries and has 50 employees. The company provides hardware and support to security, military and blue light industries worldwide with its range of infra-red night vision products, providing low light imagery up to 500m away, the firm reports. Besides the standard Sentinel, the firm offers the Sentinel Pro and the Sentinel Ultra.

This award recognises projects that represent a first for the industry, a first for a particular market or a new application of an existing security solution. Visit www.nocturna.co.uk.
