IDIS winners at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

IDIS has announced the winners from its prize draw competition during IFSEC who won a hotel break, a championship golf outing and a thrilling driving experience. Prizes included a hotel break, a championship golf outing and a thrilling driving experience. By taking part in a DirectIP demonstration and participating in activities on the stand, the company says that the visitors became part of the buzz around IDIS and its launch of DirectIP.

Paul Schelhaas, Director, Sunstone Systems, said: “DirectlP literally blew us away. At Sunstone we have installed a great number of IP security systems over the last ten years. The IDIS cameras and DirectIP solution offers a great combination of exceptional clarity and ease of use that we believe is unrivalled in the networked surveillance market. There is no doubt Sunstone and indeed installation engineers across the industry will want to specify and install this kit.”

Nicky Stokes, Managing Director, ISDTech, added: “DirectIP is going to be a whole lot easier to install, making networked HD surveillance more cost-effective for installers and integrators as well as delivering significant cost savings to the end-user.”

Darren Morrison, Director at Rukey Solutions said: “My first impression is that the quality of these images is excellent. The sleek, unobtrusive but robust look of the cameras and NVR’s were very impressive too ─ plug and play setup along with a sharp elegant interface. IDIS definitely pass the quality approval with flying colours.”

DirectIP from IDIS launched in May 2013 at IFSEC, packaged as a one-stop-shop comprising a range of cameras and network video recorders (NVR). For more information, e-mail [email protected].
