Grundig app

by Mark Rowe

From the German CCTV manufacturer Grundig Security, its GRViewer App enables remote viewing and management of security systems by phone, tablet or PC.

It’s a free, security system management app. GRViewer is designed for viewing and management of Grundig CCTV systems, using a mobile phone, tablet or PC. The App gives users central control of Grundig systems, including associated cameras, from anywhere, at any time.

CCTV data is often both mission critical and confidential. The GRViewer provides similar levels of control to a centrally monitored system, without any loss of functionality or performance, the makers say. It ensures that all data is safely transmitted for viewing.

The GRViewer is a site management tool, offering multi-channel, live view of up to 30fps 640×480 (Wi-Fi recommended), with a one and four channel display. PTZ control is standard, allowing events and incidents to be viewed in detail.

The app offers search options, including time and event, with four filter options to speed up data retrieval. There is also a choice of playback settings, including up to 64x playback speed. Digital and network recorder set up can be adjusted remotely using a variety of configuration settings, for saving time. The app allows set-up and configuration adjustments so users can operate and adjust their system functionality.

The GRViewer is available for Android and Apple IOS 5 or higher. Supported Grundig devices include the GRI series of NVRs and the GRA series of DVRs.
