Essen spotlight

by msecadm4921

The Essen security show from September 25 to 28 will put the spotlight on pioneering innovations and young companies with potential.

Exhibitors will still be able to put themselves forward as candidates for the Security Innovation Award until June 15. Messe Essen will honour particularly trendsetting products. One important criterion will be the ideal and material value added while focusing on the human being. The mark of distinction in gold, silver and bronze will be conferred in the three categories: Technology and Products, Services, and Fire Protection. The jury may present a special prize for exceptional concepts.

The trade fair will have a cooperative booth in Hall 9, where firms with new developments with regard to products or processes will present themselves on 150 square metres. The German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs will promote companies less than ten years’ old, employ under 50 people and have their headquarters and business operations in Germany. Smaller businesses with pioneering ideas will also be given the possibility of introducing their products and services to the international public at Security Essen. The range offered by the six young companies will extend from alarm installations via internet-based personnel planning software right up to mechanical security solutions. Visit www.messe-essen.de.
