DirectIP, the full-HD surveillance product from the South Korea-based company IDIS, has earned a finalist place at this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards.

The Security and Fire Excellence Awards showcase the companies, products, projects and individuals the security and fire industry has to offer. Recognised in the CCTV System of the Year category, DirectIP was shortlisted by a panel of constituents made up of police, insurers, consultants, journalists and industry practitioners.

Brian Song, Managing Director of IDIS Europe, said: “We are thrilled to be nominated alongside some of the world’s largest top-tier security providers. It’s also an honour to be shortlisted by our industry peers. These awards are undoubtedly the ‘Oscars’ of the industry and we look forward to celebrating with the security and fire community at what is set to be a fabulous night in London.”

About DirectIP

Packaged as what the makers term an end-to-end solution, comprising a range of cameras, monitors, network video recorders (NVR) and comprehensive video management software, DirectIP solutions deliver plug-and-play simplicity, the makers say.

The Security and Fire Excellence Awards final will take place on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel, London. For the full list of Security and Fire Excellence Awards finalists, go to http://www.securityexcellenceawards.co.uk/finalists.php. And go to www.idisglobal.com.
