Innovise, FaceID Biometrics partner

by Mark Rowe

Innovise Software and FaceID Biometrics have announced a channel partnership to add face recognition to Innovise’s software products.

An alternative to finger print and finger vein identification, face recognition generally provides a faster, more secure way to confirm employee identity and attendance, the firms say. Integrating with Innovise’s workforce management product, Timegate, this new collaboration will offer Innovise customers more choice.

Innovise Software Managing Director Graeme Hughes, says careful due diligence resulted in the selection of FaceID Biometrics: “The Timegate solution is a business-critical tool that our customers rely on. Our customers demand reliability and premium products and services from us. As such, we spend a great deal of effort vetting suppliers and partners. We need them to focus on quality in the way that we do. In FaceID we have found a partner who we believe will match the high quality, performance and reliability of Timegate. We look forward to a successful future together.”

FaceID’s Dual Sensor technology provides 3D image performance, giving businesses a visual record in less than one second per transaction it’s claimed. FaceID Managing Director Stuart Worthington adds: “FaceID was first to market with its patented, embedded ‘Dual Sensor’ algorithm. It continues to maintain its leadership position, being recognised as one of the best performing systems on the market today. This agreement is key to our strategy of partnering with software companies who are leaders in their sector. Teamed with Timegate, the FM sector’s leading workforce management solution, this certainly is an exciting partnership.”
