Industry survey

by Mark Rowe

The Biometrics Institute has launched its 2014 Industry Survey asking members and stakeholders about the current status and expected future developments of the biometrics industry.

In its fifth year, this industry survey assesses trends and developments in the biometrics industry. The results will provide some projections and expectations for the performance of the industry in the coming year. The survey can be accessed at – https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BIIndustrySurvey2014.

The survey is being circulated to all members of the Biometrics Institute and other key stakeholders. Members of the Biometrics Institute will receive a free copy of the full report through the website at www.biometricsinstitute.org; and others can request an executive summary.

Isabelle Moeller, Chief Executive of the Biometrics Institute, says: “The biometrics industry is going through some interesting changes with some of the innovation seemingly coming from outside the industry, so it will be interesting to capture the thinking of the biometrics world and gauge personal levels of uptake. This year therefore includes some revised and new questions to better reflect the changing market place for biometrics, plus we have added some more personal questions a the end.”

Findings will be presented at:
