UTC at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

Product launches in intruder, CCTV, integration and fire will be unveiled by UTC Climate, Controls & Security at IFSEC, on stand C90 Hall 4.

The new products will include a combined camera-PIR unit with features that will make visual verification intruder systems much easier to design and install, the firm says.

For critical risk applications such as data-centres and storage facilities, a new line of aspirated air detection devices will provide warning of potential fires.

A suite of perimeter detection products is also being showcased, ranging from acoustic cable technology to active IR beam devices.
In the CCTV arena an upgraded video management system is being released, adding to the capability of the TruVision recorder range.
And a software video recording system will provide new functionality that goes it is claimed further than current market alternatives.

In the fire market, a new end-to-end wireless solution is being introduced to UTC’s Ziton range.

Kevin Swann, UTC’s UK Country Manager, says: “With its global leadership in key areas of security and fire technology UTC has been investing strongly in the tools and technology available to system installers. We’re very excited about the technical innovations that we are bringing to market and unveiling at Ifsec this year.”

Details of all the Ifsec launches will also be released soon on UTC’s website: visit www.utcfssecurityproducts.co.uk
