Surface mounted panels

by Mark Rowe

Kentec’s conventional Sigma CP range of fire control panels has been further extended with a range of surface mounted panels that includes the zone Line Continuity Monitoring Unit (LCMU) end-of-line device.

The makers say that this extra option will benefit installers using Apollo and Hochiki’s diode type detector bases as it allows the signal of a fault to be sent to the panel if a detector head is removed, whilst allowing following devices to remain operational.

The Sigma CP range is certified to BS EN54-2 and BS EN54-4, available in two, four or eight zone format. Product features include a zone check facility that checks and warns a user that a disabled zone is still in fire before re-enabling the zone.

Sigma CP range is compatible with a range of detection devices, Kentec add. Visit www.kentec.co.uk.
