by Mark Rowe

LogiScan Fire and Security Ltd has added Alfie Binyon, pictured, to its team of fire and security engineers. Alfie – who lives in Dawlish – has joined the Wellington-based company as a Senior Service Engineer.

He will be covering the Exeter area providing service and maintenance of fire and security equipment for LogiScan clients. He will also be responding to fire and security system faults and call-outs. Alfie has spent 14 years in the industry in a variety of engineer roles and has also run his own fire and security business.

He said: “I am looking forward to a new challenge with LogiScan in what is an exciting period for the company with the implementation of the new business development strategy.

“I was attracted to the role because of the progressive nature of the business and I am determined to play my part in bringing future success to the company.

Andrew Humphries, Technical Director of LogiScan, has also taken delivery of three extra vans for use by engineers. “Our commitment to growing the business, both in terms of our services portfolio and securing new clients is beginning to bear fruit and Alfie is another important component of the team that is helping to deliver that growth,” said Andrew.
