IFSEC: RSI

by msecadm4921

The XTO control panel from RSI Video Technologies is a weatherproof, wireless, battery operated hybrid alarm. It is designed for outdoor commercial applications such as constructions sites, cellular towers, remote sites and sub-stations.

The product comes in an IP65 waterproof housing with mounting bracket. The panel will operate on batteries between minus 30 degrees to plus 60 degrees C. It has two integrated longrange antennas: one for 868MHz communications between the panel and peripheral devices AND one for GPRS communications from the panel to the Central Station.

The panel is the makers say suitable for applications such as construction sites, utilities, and vulnerable remote assets, and features an XT control panel and booster RF and GPRS antennas inside an IP rated box.

Like other RSI Video Technologies panels the XTO can link to up to 24 PIR cameras and is suited to locations where the panel needs to be mounted outdoors and where there is no mains power. The booster antennas enable the system to provide security to large areas even where there is a poor GPRS signal.
