Gloucester acquisition

The Cirencester-based installer CIA Fire and Security Limited has bought Gloucester-based Micro-Vision Fire and Security.

Matthew Harrison, operations director at CIA Fire and Security Group, says: “Our purchase of Micro-Vision is part of a long term strategy to ensure we are delivering outstanding service levels to all of our clients. Micro-Vision shares our ethos of great service, people and performance and the combination of the two companies will offer substantial benefits to all our clients.”

“Our immediate focus is to deliver added value to clients, who will benefit from increased coverage from an expert team and access to a wider range of services. Whilst this move clearly signifies a change; looking to the future, the purchase will also add greater strength to the business whilst providing clients with a first class, value for money service.”

The companies, which includes CIA Fire and Security Limited, Micro-Vision Fire and Security Limited and A4 Security will now be known as CIA Fire and Security Group. The Group’s headquarters will be in Cirencester with regional offices in Calne, in north Wiltshire; and Gloucester. Products and services offered by CIA Fire and Security Group include:

· Intruder Alarms
· Fire alarm Installation
· CCTV
· Access control
· Gate automation
· Keyholding and alarm response
· Security patrolling; and
· Fire extinguisher servicing.
