GJD at NSI Installer Summit

by Mark Rowe

GJD Manufacturing Limited is among the firms exhibiting at the NSI Installer Summit at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham on March 10.

GJD will be on stand 35 where the company’s sales team will be unveiling the Clarius Plus, pictured, LED illuminators available in Infra-Red and White-Light versions.

Clarius® Plus is made with a new interchangeable lens diffuser, which provides a quick method to alter the angle of illumination, the makers say. Another feature, the elliptical beam profiles, allow significantly more light to be delivered where it is required, enabling longer distances to be reached and minimising light wastage, saving energy and costs compared to a standard illuminator, it is claimed.

GJD Director, Keith Fenwick said: “Lighting has proved itself as a clever deterrent against many crimes and as a result it is normally the first line of criminal defence. Unfortunately, we tend to see that professionals often overlook the important aspect of controlled lighting when selecting their security technology. This is why the Clarius Plus range is well suited as it is very easy to alter the system to suit specific site requirements, such as field of view and illumination range.”

Also at the summit GJD is to demonstrate some of its other products including the Pearl Triple-Tech Wired Curtain Detector, a PIR and microwave product; the Clarius LT Infra-Red illuminators; and the D-Tect Laser scanner.
