Call point protector

by Mark Rowe

The Euro Stopper from Safety Technology International (Europe) is now available with an embedded substance that glows in the dark.

The Glow Guide pigment will release light for up to eight hours in darkness or dimly lit areas; it charges up after only 30 minutes exposure to natural or artificial light. It is essential for use in emergency situations, say STI.

The ‘Glow Guide’ is not the only new feature to the product – the polycarbonate call point protector now comes in a kit form, allowing the user to assemble the product in the way which best suits their application, with the choice of red or green housing shell, language, mounting option, sounder and break-seal facility.

The Redditch-based manufacturers of fire, security and safety products make enclosures, covers and cages to protect products; call points and switches; and wireless monitoring products.
