Barrier sensors

by Mark Rowe

The Californian alarm and vehicle security product company SECO-LARM has introduced the new ENFORCER long-range barrier sensors, available in four lengths (26″, 43″, 61″ and 79″) with a corresponding number of beam pairs (two, four, six and eight). The sensors provide vertical and horizontal coverage to give perimeter detection. All four models have an outdoor range of up to 190ft (58m), and an indoor range of up to 380ft (120m). The sensors are programmable, with options such as four frequencies to reduce interference between multiple units, and four specific response times. Swiveling end caps allow the installer to adjust the angle of the sensors and a built-in heater automatically turns on and off depending on the outside temperature.

SECO-LARM has a variety of photoelectric beam sensors. Visit www.seco-larm.com for more information.
