Audio-visual alarms

by Mark Rowe

The fire detector and call point product manufacturer C-TEC has launched its own range of conventional sounders and Visual Alarm Devices (VADs), that work with the company’s CFP, FP, MFP and EP203 conventional fire panels. The new ceiling, wall and open class audio-visual alarm devices are LPCB-certified to EN54-3 and 23 and offer sound output, illumination and low current consumption.

Andy Green, C-TEC’s Marketing Manager said: “The release of our new ActiV sounders and VADs together with our existing ActiV range of fire detectors means installers can now create complete conventional fire systems utilising C-TEC’s own manufactured products.”

The range is compatible with other manufacturers’ conventional fire panels (subject to testing). ActiV sounders and VADs can also be used on the conventional sounder circuits of a C-TEC XFP or ZFP addressable fire panel. Visit www.c-tec.com.
