Access Control

Visitor package

by Mark Rowe

Evolis, French manufacturer of plastic card products, is partnering Canadian company Viscount Systems Inc. in introducing ‘Hello Visitors’. The companies describe it as offering all-in-one visitor management based on rewritable cards.

Welcoming visitors to a company projects a professional image. A designed, personalised badge lets you identify visitors on the premises. Evolis and Viscount Systems Inc. – a Canadian access control manufacturer – have jointly developed Hello Visitors. This comprises the Facility Friends software published by Viscount Systems Inc., an Evolis Tattoo-RW rewritable card printer, rewritable cards and badge-holders.

The software enables analysis of visitor streams. An intuitive dashboard makes it possible to list visitor identities, state how many visits are under way, notify delays, manage unwelcome visitors and generate an evacuation report listing visitors on-site. For management of visits over time, this software package also allows a
database of visitor contacts to be drawn up through the use of forms.

The Evolis Tattoo-RW rewritable card printer was designed to wipe and print new data onto a single badge up to 500 times, of use because of the limited time that such a badge is generally used. Hello Visitors is packaged with card template software, which allows anyone to personalise badges, by adding text, a logo, and an image or photo.
