OEM agreement
During IFSEC, Panasonic announced a partnership with Bravida Fire & Security, that will see Panasonic enter the European access control market.
Bravida is a Scandinavian installer. Its “Integra” access and intruder products will be added to Panasonic’s portfolio of security products.
Door nodes, access units, power supplies, alarm nodes, card readers, key cards and the software to support the hardware will be launched under a joint Panasonic and Integra branding. The agreement will also see Bravida add Panasonic’s range of security cameras to its product range in Scandinavia.
Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU) Managing Director Masaki Arizono, said: “We have a strong portfolio of products in this area, which is undoubtedly strengthened by this partnership.
“Bravida’s technology has an excellent reputation for quality and reliability, it will complement our products very well and seamlessly integrate with our fire and CCTV platform. We see this as a key element as far as our ability to deliver a total security solution is concerned.”
The partnership initially covers the UK, Germany, France, Turkey and Benelux, but will also include Panasonic’s key accounts across Europe.
And Sven Klockare, CEO, Bravida Fire & Security, said: “Panasonic is a leader in security with a broad, high-tech range of products. The agreement brings two best in class companies together and we are proud to become a strategic partner to Panasonic in Europe.”
