Having joined access control product company Grosvenor Technology as Sales and Marketing Director in 2014, Andy Rainforth has recently been appointed Managing Director.

Andy, pictured, says: “It’s been a great process, preparing Grosvenor for growth. We’ve learnt a lot about our NSI and SSAIB installer base and what they look for in an Access Control manufacturer. It’s taken two years’ work on a commercial proposition and a product range that differentiates Grosvenor installers from the mass market who are fighting for the same, ultra-competitive projects.”

Grosvenor reports sales of their Sateon Access Control platform in 2015-16 grew 244 per cent from the year before. The firm reports that there’s no time for Andy to get comfortable and hang his portrait on his office wall, partly because he doesn’t have one. But also, because there’s bigger fish to fry, like continuing the freshly launched Sateon Advance access control and the Alliance Partnership Programme, which is designed to give system integrators and security installers commercial, marketing and technical support.
